Release Notes:
--------
What a nice surprise! A power pop "super group"
of sorts has quietly emerged. Stockton is Whit
Williams and Dana Myzer from Cotton Mather, and
Ron Flynt from 20/20! What was meant to be just
a one-time recording session (with the intent of
producing a track for a compilation release) turned
into this terrific, no-frills full-length that's
chock full of hooks, rootsy, jangly, crunchy guitars
and harmonies! And are we sure glad it did! "Not
surprisingly, their straightforward rock and roll
recalls the pure pop urgency of 80's-era 20/20
combined with the rootsy psychedelia of Cotton
Mather's 'Kontiki'!" We couldn't have said it
any better ourselves! Of course we miss Cotton
Mather terribly. But, along with Robert Harrison's
brilliant Future Clouds & Radar project, you now
have two terrific Cotton Mather-related, pop-leaning
spin-offs! And Ron Flynt too! And that ain't a bad
thing at all! Watch these guys!
