Release Notes:


A 30 year veteran of performing music, Tokyo
Rosenthal is coming off his biggest success with
the acclaim his original recording ôEdmontonö has
received in Alberta , Canada. The song has been
getting steady airplay on radio and Tokyo has been
touring the clubs throughout Alberta including the
well known ôBlue Chairö where Tokyo has performed
on many occasions. This past January,  Rosenthal
received a certificate of recognition from the city
of Edmonton for cultural and artistic contributions
and at the same time presented the Mayor of
Edmonton with a CD copy of ôEdmontonö in a ceremony
at City Hall heavily covered by the media. He will
also be playing the Fringe Festival this August in
Edmonton as part of his summer tour which  also
covers Winnipeg, Brandon, Regina and Saskatoon.



RosenthalÆs  musical career spans 4 decades that
has seen him play all over the US and he has opened
for such acts as America, Rick Roberts, Come On In
My Kitchen, and Danny DiCarlo among others. He also
appeared with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and
founding Byrd Chris Hillman in Toronto this past
April 11th and 12th.



Tokyo has just relocated to Chapel Hill, North
Carolina from New York and has resided in Los
Angeles as well as Rhode Island. Barely a week goes
by where heÆs not headlining one of the many clubs
in the Raleigh /Durham area. He describes his music
as Americana/Roots with some blues thrown in. His
performances include original music and
interpretations of other writers compositions.. He
is presently touring with ôthe master of the
electric bassö, Alex Little.
