█▀░░ PsyCZ group was formed in spring 2001 by its first three members ... ░░▀█
█▀░ But as every group grows and gets new members, new people joined PsyCZ ░▀█
█▀░ to help us in our mission. Our main common loved genere was psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ ... of course, but everone of us likes several more genres. This caused, ░▀█
█▀░ that several members began to demand releasing other music styles such ░▀█
█▀░ as ambient, drum&bass and few more ... So we realized, that our original ░▀█
█▀░ name PsyCZ is a little uncomfortable, because it highlights our psy - ░▀█
█▀░ sight. After few days of debates we decided to found new sub-group ... ░▀█
█▀░ and here we are ... PsyCZ_NP will bring you plenty of non psychedelic ░▀█
█▀░ music ... especially ambient, but some other genres are planned too. ░▀█
█▀░ Why did we decide for non-psy? Changing of the group name isn't possible ░▀█
█▀░ so possibilities we had was only adding a suffix to current group name ░▀█
█▀░░ ... so have chosen non-psy, because it's clearest and most fluent ... ░░▀█

█▀║ GEIR JENSSEN, former member of Norwegian band Bel Canto but since 1989 ║▀█
█▀║ working in solo mode - first as Bleep, from 1992 on as BIOSPHERE - is ║▀█
█▀║ one of the figureheads of contemporary electronic music. On his albums ║▀█
█▀║ Microgravity (1992) and Patashnik (1994), both widely acknowledged as ║▀█
█▀║ records that shaped the ambient genre, he combines found noises, ║▀█
█▀║ atmospheric layers of sound and trance patterns with hi-tech dance ║▀█
█▀║ beats. Jenssen's music is clearly marked by his geographical location: ║▀█
█▀║ living in Troms° (about 800 kilometres north of the Arctic circle), ║▀█
█▀║ his compositions evoke his Nordic natural surroundings through the ║▀█
█▀║ sound of modern technology. PETE NAMLOOK, former jazz guitarist and ║▀█
█▀║ based in Frankfurt, over the past years gained renown as ambient and ║▀█
█▀║ dance m usic composer. He runs his own label, Fax +49-69/450464, which ║▀█
█▀║ has an output of about two records a week (all limited editions). ║▀█
█▀║ Namlook records under different guises (a.o. 4Voice, Sextant, Air,...) ║▀█
█▀║ and also has a nose for finding "partners in ambient": in the past he ║▀█
█▀║ worked with a.o. Mixmaster Morris (The Irresistible Force) as ║▀█
█▀║ Dreamfish, with Dr. Atmo as Silence, with Richie Hawtin as From Within ║▀█
█▀║ and with Jonah Sharp of San Francisco's Space Time Continuum ║▀█
█▀║ collective. Under the moniker THE FIRES OF ORK Jenssen and Namlook in ║▀█
█▀║ 1993 combined their talents. During a two-week session in Frankfurt ║▀█
█▀║ they composed a magnificent album, a magnum opus that ranges in tone ║▀█
