Alex Kidd Intro: Alex Kidd is continuing to take clubland by storm with his
unique, dancefloor destroying sets. Alex is one of a few UK based DJ's that
supports a European Hard Trance & Hard style sound. His storming sets also
incorporate a mash-up of Techno & Hard Dance, creating many surprise elements to
his performances.
Alex is a true showman behind the decks with his constant trickery of the mixer
and wild antics that whip the crowd into frenzy.
For almost 4 years æMixmag Future Hero' Alex has lead the way as the original
resident at Award winning æGoodgreef'.
In addition to overseas visits to Ireland, Cyprus, Magaluf and Taiwan, this has
recently been followed by residencies at South West superclubs Tranzactions
Truro & Dance Academy Plymouth and BIG in East Anglia.
2003 saw the Kidd become Goodgreef Recordings Label Manager alongside mixing &
compiling the æsell out' Goodgreef Debut Album. Alex also guested on Andy
Durrant's æNu-Breed' show on Galaxy 105/106 FM performed at Judgement Sunday in
Ibiza, Frantic & Riot London & Slinky & Scream Bristol.
2004 is Alex's best year to date with his diary loaded with regular bookings at:
HQ Amsterdam, Inside Out, Dance Academy, Wildchild, Bionic, Polysexual,
Sundissential & Garlands, followed by major UK Festival appearances at
Creamfields in the Cream/Goodgreef Main Arena, Helter Skelter & Antiworld Indoor
Festivals & Escape In The Park, Wales & the 7000 capacity HQXL @ Amsterdam
Docklands, not forgetting being tipped by Yoji Biomehanika in the 2004 Top 100
DJ Mag Poll as æOne to watch for the future!
2005 sees Alex start the year with a Tour of Australia/New Zealand, Mixing the
forthcoming Goodgreef Album 3 alongside Yoji Biomehanika and bookings at
Frantic, Passion & Sundissential, alongside his usual residencies and regular
bookings.
Not content with just DJing Alex has started producing and recently had his
debut release æRough Stuff' on Nukleuz's Black label and has releases set for
One Inch Records, GGR and a Lab 4 remix on Fragile.
