EXTREMELY LIMITED ONE-SIDED TWELVE, 500 COPIES ONLY. After a
mental 12 months in which Rod Modell and Steve Hitchell unveiled a
series of much sought after releases on their own highly acclaimed
Echospace imprint and four impeccable twelves and an album for
Modern Love, the two return for this last minute one-sided killer
to round things off for 2007. Beautifully cut at Berlin's
Dubplates and Mastering onto one side of heaving vinyl, "Untitled"
is an 11 minute dub reduction that works as a spiritual heir to
the killer "Empyrean" - for many people their standout moment to
date. The same unfathomable low-end ebb and flow dominates
proceedings here, while the bassdrum stagger propels the whole
thing into more driving terrain, augmented by shards of analogue
sound eruptions and beautiful tape hiss. Very few copies have been
pressed - you should know the score with these sort of releases by
now - ACT FAST!
