Hernan Rodriguez is a promising new discovery of the new UCMG label
UCR. Born in Spain, Hernan has been living in Germany for a year
and made himself a living from DJing in his home country, Italy and
France. The southern and sunny flair of his whereabouts is
reflected in the tracks he spins on his turntables or selects for
his compilations. Hernan can be taken for granted to rock every
party and, with "Escape to Silverstroom Beach", he skilfully
demonstrates his amazing ability to combine different styles within
a homogenous mix and create new sound pleasures. Hernan Rodriguez
will keep on releasing his top-notch DJ-mix compilations on UCR and
is up and ready to stimulate and surprise his audience. It's cold
and dark, your tan has completely faded and summer is still months
away. So Hernan Rodriguez has put all the tunes to stoke your soul
fire and set you off. Take "Escape To South Africa" out of the CD
tray, put it on, turn it up - and at the end of the day you will
feel wamer than the girl in the queue who's stolen her boyfriend's
coat! Hernan Rodriguez' compilation "Escape to South Africa" is an
awesome ride through moods, rhythms, memories and forbidden dreams.
With tracks produced by The Timewriter, G-Pal, Sunkiss aka David
Alverado, Mendo, Steve Lawler, Terry Lee Brown Jr. and many more he
combines Tech-House with some deep, tribal and progressive elements
and takes you on a journey to forget a hard working day and to get
the weekend started. Take a trip into your sunny dream land with
this refined collection of quality House!
