. Very cool tougher Detroit house variations from USA's The .
. .
. I'll be honest and admit i've never heard of this fella .
. before, which comes as a surprise because this 12" is .
. really good. A quick discogs check reveals a steady back .
. catalogue of releases stretching back to 2003 on his own .
. Madd Chaise label, and his myspace informs us that he was .
. releasing house tracks as far back as 1986. .
. .
. And onto the music, 'Come with me' is a killer tough house .
. groove riding distorted jack beats and space jazzing .
. synthlines sounding like a collision between Omar-S and .
. Fabrice Lig, while 'Moonhacker' is a properly primed .
. Chi-town jacker with phased xylophonics for proper outer .
. space vibes, it's a bit good this one. .
. .
. 'Solitaire' on the other side follows a path well trodden .
. by the likes of Jeff Mills and Jamal Moss in his .
. Hieroglyphic Being guise, pumping out a fantastically .
. organic yet completely artificial techno jam with some .
. pure freakin' frequencies going down, while EP closer 'We .
. are' trips it cosmic styles, i'm not going to try to .
. .
. Highly recommended! .
. .
. Ripper's note : That big and saturate sound which opens B2 .
. is normal and comes from the track, not from a possible .
. bad recording ;) That said, now shut up and Daaaance ! .
