| Formed in July of 2002, the Bridges are a family band consisting of |
| siblings Natalie Byrd (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Stacey Byrd (vocals, |
| guitar), Isaaca Byrd (bass), and Jeremy Byrd (drums), along with cousin |
| Brittany Painter (lead vocals, guitar). Originally from North Carolina, |
| the Bridges are currently based out of Oxford, AL, where the entire band |
| shares a house and rehearsal space. With a bright pop sound full of |
| three-part harmonies, the Bridges site influences ranging from late-era |
| Fleetwood Mac to the Beatles and Crosby, Still, Nash & Young, and the |
| group's approach, although it draws on these classic 1960s and 1970s |
| sources, is delightfully refreshing. The band signed with Verve Records |
| in December of 2007 and began working on a debut project with Matthew |
| Sweet at his studio in L.A. that same year. |
