As the local (and national) press goes through its changes,
various outlets come and go. Bands break up as members get jobs,
start families and move into the post-rock and - some would say -
"adult" world. The very few rockers who "make it" in an industry
that's been blown apart by bad planning in the face of technology
do so on their own merits, their own hard work. Record companies
now look to bands to bring fans and sales. Just a few years ago,
the media, the recording industry and all the players were
completely different.

But the rock and roll keeps coming back for more. The hip hop
won't stop and another generation of musicians ignores the changes
and bad news and flies on ahead with their own passion and desire
to have their stuff heard. And it keeps getting better.

So, here it is: another installment of the new and the most
current example of how the Twin Cities continuously kicks it out.
We're just going to keep throwing it down, every day. No matter
what.
