RLP has been mixing records since 1979 when he started DJing
in MontrΘal, Canada.
After playing in this cityÆs biggest clubs, he witnessed the
fine art of "monsieur" LARRY LEVAN himself at NYCÆs Paradise Garage
and played at the lendary DANCETERIA in New York way back when
"French Touch"
was a only a cooking label.
He moved to Paris to impose his own art of mixing in 1983 to
the french audience. Little did he know that he would break
grounds and introduce mixing and scratching in France. Producer of
his own radio shows at the age of 20 on the mythical
Paris RADIO 7 station, he soon started his
DJ residencies at 2 of Paris biggest Clubs :
LES BAINS DOUCHES and LE PALACE.
As a true innovator, he started the first HOUSE MUSIC nitghs
at the legendary LE REX CLUB back in 1986.
After a short pause producing records and remixing everything
from EURYTHMICS to BLACK BOX, RLP started
his own record label at PolyGram in the 90Æs
