Release Notes: ░██▓
██▒
A piece of hip-hop history! ██░
These are the first demos the Underboss recorded, and which ██
started his career. ██
Some info on the tracks: ██
"Bust A Move": First ever recorded demo by Finesse and Mike ██
Smooth done in 1987 ██
██
"Funky Dope Maneuver / Back To Back": Recorded in early 1988 ██
██
"Let The Music Play (Freestyle)": Featuring 40oz, who set up ██
the first battle between Finesse and AG :o ██
██
"Sexual Healin'": Recorded in 1988 ██
██
"No Stopping / Bust A Lil Something": These 2 cuts made Wild ██
Pitch sign Finesse and Mike Smooth! ██
██
██
There you have it! The first ever recorded songs! ██
These demos were recorded on regular tapes and 4-tracks and ██
were lost for over 20 years. The soundquality is not the ██
best exactly because of those reasons. Unearthing lost ██
material that was recorded such a long time ago, and on such ██
basic formats, it's natural that the sound isn't cd-like. ██
The cats at Vinyl Addicts did their absolute best at ██
remastering these gems! A huge shoutout goes to them and we ██
really appreciate the effort that has been put into this. ██
Let me also say this: I hope more and more people start to ██
support these kind of releases which are doper than most of ██
the stuff coming out these days. ██
Show some appreciation and love for the artists! ██
Don't just download mp3s, if you have money go out and buy ██
the music you like, may it be on cd, vinyl or any other ██
format. ██
Just leeching ain't gonna help anyone. ██
And to all those that say "well it's so expensive etc etc" ██
Think about this, instead of buying a couple of wack ██
releases, save your money and buy something worthwile. ██
