:. .:
:: Between 2001 and 2006 King Unique released a number of rather legendary vinyls ::
:: on rather legendary house label Junior. Now in 2008 theyÆre at it again with ::
:: their own Curfew imprint... ::
:: ::
:: ::
:: ::
:: "After eight years of remixing everybody else's records we've decided to let a ::
:: few of our favourite producers take a shot at some from our back-catalogue - ::
:: first track to get the '08 treatment is 'Sugarhigh'. Melodic-meets-minimal ::
:: genius Gui Boratto and old Junior label-mate turned superstar dj Nic Fanciulli ::
:: have really excelled themselves and given us two incredible techno-flavoured ::
:: remakes. Gui even took time out from his tour to make a pilgrimage to the ::
:: Sugarhigh bar in Tokyo where we dreamt the track up. Legend. KU's own 2008 remix ::
:: is big room tech-prog that keeps the best elements of the original. Starts ::
:: tracky, then grows. And grows. And grows :) Final mix comes courtesy of Sennh ::
:: who has put his trademark gorgeous layered techno shimmer to the fore, with ::
:: dubbed out hints of the original elements dropped carefully into the gaps.Their ::
:: remixes are presented here alongside the remastered 2002 original, available ::
:: digitally for the first time. ::
:: ::
:: ::
