Release Notes:
hrough battles East and West, North and South, the Hagana marches on into the
future....
Unknown Hagana have worked tirelessly since their humble beginnings as a 6-piece
indie/ska/stoner fusion band! After releasing their first EP in mid 2005, the
band worked hard on their sound, gigging throughout Edinburgh until they had
become a formidable live act.
In 2006 they continued gigging and building up a solid bank of eclectic songs
and played their first gigs outside Edinburgh and indeed outside Scotland with a
gig at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Around this time the band recorded the much improved 'Magnify Then Realise' a
6-track EP which The Skinny noted as "a huge step in a sound direction."
More favourable live reviews emerged as we entered 2007 and with the gigs
becoming more and more regular the band are currently in pre-production for a
new EP, which many feel will be "The One" and are about to release another stop
gap EP in August to keep fans happy while creating the new masterwork!
Come and join them on their journey at a gig in the near future and you'll be
sure the Hagana won't be Unknown for much longer.
