│ Shy FX's Digital Soundboy continues its │
│ adventure in cutting edge urban sounds with │
│ this new 12 by Benny Page. Since signing to │
│ the label, Benny Page has been tipped as one │
│ of the most promising producers of his │
│ generation, and recently won best │
│ breakthrough at the drum and bass awards. His │
│ production style draws heavily from the rough │
│ and catchy vibes of early jungle, and his │
│ inspiration knows no boundaries. Having │
│ experimented with dubstep like his label mate │
│ Breakage, Benny Page is already championed by │
│ the likes of Youngsta, Benga, Skream, Fabio & │
│ Mistajam with his music gracing the │
│ dancefloor of cutting edge nights such as RWD │
│ and DMZ well before this first release. "Step │
│ Out" is a potent concoction of shuffling │
│ beats, dirty cascading bass, spooky samples │
│ and gigantic atmopsheres, while "Swagger" is │
│ all sharp beats, memacing b-line, chilling │
│ strings and militant vocal samples. This is a │
│ masterful dubstep release, soon to be │
│ followed by some equally if not more │
│ impressive 12s. │
