dXb After a few 12" releases on Kompakt, Sportclub and dXb
dXb Spielzeug it was time for Axel Bartsch to produce dXb
dXb his first soloalbum. Axel Bartsch was searching for a dXb
dXb suitable record label wich put him in the position dXb
dXb to produce his album even-handed and without any dXb
dXb ulterior motives of a top selling 12" record. For dXb
dXb Axel Bartsch it solely was essential to have the best dXb
dXb possible artistic conditions for his album dXb
dXb production and Karmarouge gave him the oppurtunity to dXb
dXb do it his way. dXb

dXb As many brilliant ideas he took the final decision to dXb
dXb name his album on the loo while reading an interview dXb
dXb about Michael Mayers last album release. Axel dXb
dXb Bartsch's idea for the album titel comes out of dXb
dXb his passion about music, because music is like dXb
dXb kissing, highly emotional and sensual, the feeling of dXb
dXb approaching lips...KISS...like kissed by music. dXb

dXb Axel Bartsch was simply in the mood to have an intro dXb
dXb on his album, this gave him the possibility to dXb
dXb space out into ambient. This might happen again, dXb
dXb space is the place... dXb

dXb 02. You won't fall (Dub version) dXb
dXb 'You won't fall' was born out of the wish to produce dXb
dXb a track with vocal samples. For Axel Bartsch it was dXb
dXb a challange and it took him quite some time until he dXb
dXb found the right vocalist. By chance he found on dXb
dXb mySpace the female artist Hayes from Hong Kong who dXb
dXb has the talent to create a certain sound with dXb
dXb her voice. Fascinated by this kind of performance dXb
dXb Axel Bartsch spontaneously started to experiment dXb
dXb with these sounds. Beside the album dub version Axel dXb
dXb produced a classic vocal version wich will be dXb
dXb released on the french imprint Infine. dXb

dXb 03. Am Mauerpark dXb
dXb ...came out of the illusion of a jamming session in a dXb
dXb park in the summertime in wich one musician with dXb
dXb a bongo groove starts and other musicians join this dXb
dXb session. This can be seen in the summertimes in dXb
dXb the Mauerpark in Berlin. dXb

dXb 04. Mystique dXb
dXb Mystique is the essential track to reflect the dXb
dXb artisitc freedom wich Axel Bartsch had in mind when dXb
dXb he started the album production. This kind of dXb
dXb downbeat track is not supposed to present the regular dXb
dXb 12" format but is rather inspired by the kind of dXb
dXb music Axel loves to listen to at home or while dXb
dXb traveling, for example the sound of Tom York. dXb

dXb 05. Pannebar dXb
dXb Inspired by the unique atmosphere of Berlins Panorama dXb
dXb Bar, Axel Bartsch produced this track before his dXb
dXb gig there in June 2007. While producing music every dXb
dXb time Axel is thinking about this place, the crowd and dXb
dXb the typical Panorama Bar sound. dXb

dXb 06. Coppa dXb
dXb 'Coppa' is without any doubt a classical techno tune. dXb
dXb It's a timeless track wich will work always on the dXb
dXb dancefloor. Axel Bartsch doesn't want to reinvent the dXb
dXb wheel of techno and even so the track was dXb
dXb supposed to go into the more minimal direction, but dXb
dXb as he composed the hook sound it was clear for dXb
dXb Axel in wich direction the track had to go. dXb

dXb 07. Karneval dXb
dXb 08. BSV dXb
dXb 'BSV' and 'Karneval' are both peaktime tunes with dXb
dXb dirty metropolitan bass lines and forward pumping dXb
dXb beats. Both tracks are extremely energetic without dXb
dXb any squiggle, even so 'BSV' with its percussive dXb
dXb melody is a bit more playful than 'Karneval' wich dXb
dXb comes across with a more aggressive snare. dXb

dXb 09. Zu Breit Fuer Dong-A dXb
dXb The contradictions of this track are on the one site dXb
dXb a simple melody and on the other site not a typical dXb
dXb 4-to-the-floor beat. For some people this sounds dXb
dXb weird and sick, for the others it's simply a dXb
dXb welcoming alternation with a special twist. dXb

dXb 10. Your Voice dXb
dXb 'Your Voice' is a track wich is dominated by the dXb
dXb groove of a playful rhythm, skillfuly paired with dXb
dXb basic synthie sequences and dubbed with powerful dXb
dXb effects. Just techno. dXb

dXb 11. Freedom dXb
dXb 'Freedom' was the first finished track for this album dXb
dXb showing the more harmonic and pop music face of dXb
dXb Axel Bartsch wich some people might remember from dXb
dXb some of his former productions. Without hesitation dXb
dXb this track comes along with a certain cheesyness. dXb
