Elefant is a digital sub-label of Proton Music funded by Enrique Vanegas and
Jason Wolstahtdter and focuses on experimental and contemporary electronica and
Techno. After two succesful releases from Caleb Fox and Avus, Elefant returns
with another piece of modern dance music. On this ocassion, Pinto, best known
for his recent uber-coolish collaboration with Hopen and Hrdvision (a.k.a
Starting Teeth), The Midnight Perverts and S.Junkes - bounces back in action
with a remarkable EP of hypnotic, psychedelic 'call-it-what-you-want'
electronica. Pinto's debuting EP "Hecho en Mexico" captures the modern folklore
and roots of Guadalajara's very own; "Jicara", "Anafre" and "Metate" are mere
examples of Pinto's musical diversity which has captured the attention of many
outgoers in Mexico aswell as internationally acclaimed djs and producers.
