█ apartment and I thought it was an omen, so I headed on back home and walked
█ in circles 'round my room alone.ö

█ ItÆs lyrics like those that make Wild Sweet Orange unforgettable, after just
█ the first listen. The debut album from the Birmingham, Alabama foursome,
█ titled We Have Cause to be Uneasy, is surprising, catchy, and nothing short
█ of extraordinary. With thoughtful lyrics and warm vocals, itÆs hard not to
█ notice a hint of Southern charm in lead singer Preston LovinggoodÆs voice.
█ (And no, they do not say ôyÆallö on the album).

█ With lyrics like, ôyou're shaking bad in your sheets, convulsing like you
█ didn't eatö, my personal favourite song on the album, ôTiltö, is a perfect
█ example of the remarkably vivid lyrics that set Wild Sweet Orange apart from
█ a crowd of indie rock bands that, while producing catchy tunes, donÆt really
█ say much at all. Lovinggood explains on the bandÆs MySpace, ôOur generation
█ gets a little looked down upon for asking too many questions or complaining
█ too much, but I think we have the right to ask those questions.ö

█ The album displays a great combination of beautiful, slow ballads and
█ powerful rock songs that demonstrates the bandÆs versatility. With songs like
█ ôSeeing and Believingö and ôLand of No Returnö, which was featured on a 2007
█ episode of ôGreyÆs Anatomyö, Wild Sweet Orange make it clear that they are a
