█ . │▓ Tunya, meaning "Truth" in N'faly's MalinkΘ language, is his new cd. It is █
█ . │▓ somewhat of a departure for him, as it fulfills o¡ne of his longstanding █
█ . │▓ dreams, to incorporate some Western stringed instruments into his music. █
█ . │▓ The combination of delicate kora with violin and cello is simply inspired, █
█ . │▓ and unique in the various kora inspired cds of recent years. The more █
█ . │▓ traditional instruments, and Mandingue melodies, are re-interpreted. Songs █
█ . │▓ like Love Hyppo, itself a re-interpretation of the classic Mandingue story █
█ . │▓ Malisaddio, which in itself is a variation of the Cinderella story, really █
█ . │▓ put across the idea of a vibrant culture which is very much moving into █
█ . │▓ the new millennium while retaining a strong foothold in the Mandingue █
█ . │▓ culture and traditions. █
