eva be "below"
this is eva be's debut release and as such it represents her own
distinct dj-style: powerful, deep and dubby. she has been active
for quite a few years in the berlin underground music-scene.
together with stefan rogall she runs the insession radio show on
dj-sets.com. take this track as an appetizer for the new hot
material on which she is currently working together with producer
andreas loof at the m-files studio in the middle of berlin. to be
out soon.
rogall "nightdrive"
stefan rogall has been the main producer behind the projects
micatone and atomhockey. he previously released his first
solo-recorded tunes on spinning wheel rec. and comet rec. the
latter one together with the legendary afro-beat drummer tony
allen. the track was produced over 1 year ago and was intended as
the opener for the insession mix-cd. the rough-draft was created
under the impression of the lyrical content of the track "taking a
breath of warm air... blowing... freezing the skin with your
sweat" - a real nightdrive.
benny luca "gamba"
the orginal demo-version caused quite a stir at the sonar
kollektiv office. benny luca is the second artist debut on the
insession compilation. this sampadelic tool was built using the
depths of a record-collection, the vocals of sonja brex, real
rhodes sounds and some sweet programming - a classic with a
mediterranean feel.
