Xutos & PontapΘs is a Portuguese rock band founded in 1978.
The band was founded in 1978 under the influence of the
punk rock scene and is still very successful today, after
more than a dozen studio and live albums.
Their tracks are a blend of punk, progressive rock,
country and Portuguese folk. They have also experimented
with other genres in the early 80s, including electro pop.
In 2004 the band was awarded a state decoration by the
Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio, for their 25-year long
career achievement.
Current members are: Tim (bass/vocals), ZΘ Pedro (rhythm
guitar), Joπo Cabeleira (solo guitar) and Kal· (drums).
The saxophone player Gui is frequently credited with the
band.
O Circo de Feras Live At Campo Pequeno, Lisbon, was a
great concert and a great conceptual show because all the
scenarios and acts around the concert were based on true
and live circus acts. You had the band playing a great set
of songs with great circus numbers acting at the same time.
Great show indeed and you have it here on dvd.
