"This CD is nothing short of gorgeous. Televise have undergone
something of a transformation with this work. Having started
off as a contemporary guitar band with heavy shoegaze leanings
we find ex-Slowdive member Simon Scott providing a whole new
world of sculptural guitar sound. Fitting in perfectly with
the likes of Kranky or Limit Switch, this 6-track CD is
teeming with textural beauty and lush melodic components, each
moment as delicate, yet robust, as it's possible to be.
There's a dreamy, indefinable quality here that is infinitely
appealing and coupled with the brilliant remix by Mole Harness
that sits happily next to the other tracks with its processed
and tweaked guitar sounds, you've got yourself yet another
superb release on this increasingly excellent label. Highly
recommended."
