This single was released at the time when Nalin & Kane were at the
height of their popularity. Beachball was devastating the dancefloors all
over Europe, their remix of Lustral "Everytime" was generating tremendous
buzz and everyone was looking for more of their productions, new or not.
R&S did the smart choice of giving them this classic from 1994 to remix
and instantly this re-release was all about just the N&K remix. Unlike
the previous epic and uplifting tracks this is a minimal ditty on a strong
techno tip. Things don't really pick up until the middle of the track when
the most maddening military drums kick in and then things pick up from
their. Probably not as obvious as their other remixes, but still regarded
among their best. The Wildcat remix (I somehow remember that it was another
alias for the Sol Brothers, but I may be wrong) is a UK speed garridge
version. The Cleaner Inc is beefier and trancier and makes good use of that
xylophone sound and the original, which is still my favourite version, is
also included for everyone who missed out on it first time around.
