Release Notes:

Since the Beginning of time the Elders have had strong visions of a bass driven, party rockin', tech-electro sound. Now the year is 2008 and such visions have manifested into conscience reality. Known only as fRew, (with a Capital R) An Australian DJ/Producer that augments your club experience to greater heights. He hypnotizes even the most blasΘ bodies with his amazing & unique style of dance floor rhythms. In early 2007, fRew reached the next level by writing his own music and signing with the worldÆs fastest growing and forward thinking label, Vacation Records.

Take a momentà Imagine sipping a perfectly mixed martini, but garnished with the future of club musicö. This is one way to describe the collaboration between æfRew & the ShopliftasÆ. Aptly titled æBermuda NightsÆ This release has a little something for everybody, combining deep atmospherics with a hard edged bassline. Stupid Fresh dismiss Barry White, preaching ôThis is music to sex your lady toö.

Descriptive words such as ôTight!ö & ôWicked, Fucking Wicked!ö from Ali B (Fabric) and Smithmonger are used to sum up fRewÆs incredibly catchy yet cutting edge re rub of Bass Kleph's æBump UgliesÆ. UKÆs Jnr J was left baffled stating, ôThis fRew character is mental, he's not done a track I don't love!ö

His larger than large single æCall of the CrowÆ has DJÆs and producers lining up to sing praise. From the vocal chords of Mickey Slim ôJEEEEEEEEEESUS!!! Another fuckin bomb! I love it!ö accompanied with Australian Ministry of SoundÆs Tim McGee ôMe likey!ö Laurent Garnier complimenting with ôThis sounds fucked up and nasty!ö to SydneyÆs John Glover, ôTune! This thing destroys every dance floor it comes into contact with!ö itÆs obvious the critics are calling this crow a hit.

fRew was given the opportunity to remix ex-1200 Techniques front man NÆfaÆs æGet DohÆ alongside label owner and mentor Bass Kleph. fRew's remix has not only ignited dance floors globally but reached number seven on the Beatport electro house charts. æGet DohÆ received generous chunks of airtime on Australia's Triple J and has been collecting kudos from as far away as South Africa with Mark Webb professing, ôtight, rocking and just the thing I like. More of this please!ö.

fRewÆs original tune æShake With ItÆ picked up much respect worldwide from artists including Micky Slim and The Bass Bin Twins whom dug the original sound: "ItÆs so refreshing to hear tracks with a sense of quality control among the ever-existing sea of so so productions.ö while his remix of Bass KlephÆs æCoup dÆetatÆ rated equally as strong, garnering props from Way Out West with the massive claim ôthis is how electro house should be done!ö. Following was fRew's floor thumping electro remix of the Shopliftas æFreak OutÆ which not only made a lot of noise but was rated an 8/10 by the Plump DJÆs, calling the tune ôexcellentö û a direct reflection of fRewÆs strong production work from the heavyweights themselves.

Next on the production agenda is more original flavor, with a track titled ôI Got Somethingö fRew creates a dark, yet seductive timbre, complemented with polished lyrics written by up & coming dance floor diva æJessica HiggsÆ. To shortly follow is ôFixed Mind.ö A no bullshit, straight up club track packed full of the energy only the way æfRewÆ can deliver.

Despite a busy schedule fRew still finds the time to push the envelope in the studio by hosting Beat Box Radio with Bass Kleph on 2SER 107.3FM every Friday afternoon. Broadcasting the best in top shelf tech, electro house and breaks all over Sydney, their podcasts reach the rest of the world via iTunes with over 137,000 downloads to date - further evidence of fRewÆs ability to capture a global audience.
