                 This is a terrifying debut from an artist youÆll
                 be hearing a lot more of in the very near future.
                 Already being caned by a selected array of
                 renowned DJÆs (those of you who have seen Rob Hall
                 play out recently will very probably have been
                 given a covert introduction to this material),
                 thereÆs a lot of excitement surrounding the debut
                 material from this mysterious ex-Bitstream
                 operator. The 6 tracks on board take us to over
                 half an hourÆs worth of ruffage, emanating from
                 the twisted mangled beat and bass mashup of
                 opening track ôFreeform Renderö to the classic
                 late night IDM of ôRotating Massö, the sparse
                 synth-heavy electroid breakbeat of ôMicro-Dotzö,
                 heavy bass decimations on ôNuclear Fusionö,
                 classic acidic spacious electro on ôSpacemission
                 Oneö and the monstrous, rigid low-end magnetism of
                 the closing ôSubversive Chasm V2ö. ThereÆs a
                 distinctive sound at play here that brings to mind
                 all manner of electronic blueprints as defined by
                 the likes of Afx, Eog and, of course, Bitstream,
                 but thereÆs a cetrtain twist to the beats and the
                 synths that you just wonÆt hear anywhere else this
                 year. ThereÆs a second EP on the way from this
                 guy, plus loads of new Bitstream material and a
                 very special EP from ManchesterÆs mysterious
                 Pendle Coven to follow very shortrly - in the
                 meantime you really should check this out.
