Written, produced, performed & mixed by Simian.
Simain return with one of the best of the tracks from their album
released last year. This time they utilise a miriad of producers/remixers
to add ooomph to an already infectious track with dancefloor potential.
The results are a mixed bag of nuts. Brian Eno turns in an angry noisy punk
rock interpretation, Ladytron do their electroclash thing and Simain remix
it themselves. The pick of the bunch though are Ilya Remix, which is dark,
subtle, melodic, cinematic and gentle at the same time and the Phil Kieran
who does the pounding podium anthem thing to great effect. Definitely
worth investigation.
