Release Notes:
--------------
First time on CD for this legendary early Goth band: Features the epic
single "Last Year's Wife", one of the best loved Goth singles of all
time, which recently featured in Record Collector's Top 50 Goth
Rarities (November 2007). Also includes their second single, "Falling",
which was originally released on Cherry Red Records. "Should have been
as big as Bauhaus," wrote esteemed Goth author Mick Mercer.
They too had their own look and their own sound, with unusually short
songs and slender tones blended well. Warmly romantic themes; chilled,
spectral sounds. As well as the "Last Year's Wife" EP, it features a
welter of newly discovered studio recordings that have never been heard
before. Sleeve-notes written in collaboration with the band, including
their own commentaries and the booklet features exclusive photos taken
from the band's and Mick Mercer's personal archive.
Note: Some of the Demo recordings are of very poor quality and have
been mastered the best they could with the original source material.
