I think that both sides are cover-versions: the a-side, I know, was
originally done by US bay-area drummer Roy Porter and the other one
'sounds' familiar. Both are in the fast Samba Fusion mould and
feature a great female singer by the name of Marya Mrozkova.
'Jessica' is quite far-removed from the original and, to be honest,
I prefer it. It has a '4 to the floor' bass drum going through it
ala Nicola ConteÆs Samba productions, and, to be honest, that idea
is now a little worn-out; even Nicola doesnÆt do that now.
The b-side is more in the traditional mode. It is absolutely superb
and timeless.
