Release Notes:
--------
The third outing from Toronto songwriter Neville Quinlan and his top-notch
alt-rock trail-mates, bassist John Dinsmore, guitarist Peter Kesper and drummer
Mark Kesper, continues the band's exploration of the darker, dirtier niches of
Canada's landscape, history and psyche, with a great deal more confidence in
their now familiar style û a kind of cinematic country rock with unexpected
moments of humour, emotional atrophy and high drama û and virtuoso vocal
performances by Quinlan.
Under the stewardship of producer Luke Doucet, XOK turns out to be an
extravagant and colourful expression of grand ennui.
