The Shortwave Set have worked with Danger Mouse on their second
album 'Replica Sun Machine', and we can unveil full details of the
band's new long-player.
Apparently Danger Mouse is a big fan of the band's debut album and
invited them to Los Angeles so he could produce their second
full-length effort. Furthermore, Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke
Park assists with string arrangements and Velvet Underground's John
Cale also appears.
Before Replica Sun Machine is released on May 28th, the 21st of
April will see the single 'No Social'. A 7" includes b-side White
Lie, while a 10" includes an Optimo Espacio remix. Live dates are
also being planned, with those to be announced in the lead-up to
the album.
