I can't tell you how long I have been waiting for someone to remix
some of the older Cure tracks. Slide (you all know who he is) does
a bang up job on this one. 'A Forest' is one of the more
introspective and somber cuts from the early Seventeen Seconds LP,
a classic disc in its own right. Slide retains the guitar hook and
synth melody from the original track but adds his own subtle
groove that brings a bit of fun to the otherwise dreary tune.
