Perhaps not quite the same joyous listening experience as the
reissue of Gerald's incredible 'Black Secret Technology' album
a couple of weeks back, but good to see Gerald back in business
once again, and especially for a label as discerning and well
respected as Perlon. The title track is a spooked-out late
night shuffle that features some clever vocal fixes and a
rugged, gnarly bassline that keeps things suitably darkside.
"Moon Jelly" on the flip is the one for us though, deploying a
perfect square bassline and spacious production for some
next-level dancefloor science from the man who always can. Very
good indeed...
