The Amazing Transplant 12" EP is the long-awaited fourth
release on Stark Reality, the subsidiary label of Jazzman
Records.
Cherrystones and Andy Votel pay each other a musical tribute
by remixing each other's tunes on the same EP to create a
simple but new listening experience.
The first two Cherrystones EPs were met with critical acclaim
from journalists and DJs alike, while Manchester's Andy Votel
has been going from strength to strength with his releases on
his own Twisted Nerve label.
Both artists share an interest in music from hip-hop to '60s psych,
and both use a subtle fusion of studio techniques to create a
sound that is ultra-modern yet deeply resonant of their
listening habits.
