"Another low profile winner from Kode 9 this week, culled
from Badawi's 'Unit of resistance' collab album, the Kode
9 remix of 'den of drums' is pure dancefloor gold.
Offering up one of his most uptempo and straight banging
efforts to date, Kode 9 lunges for the jugular with a
charging cut, beefing up loops from Badawi's original with
a hard 2-step template and a sweet melodica line, which
has become a bit of a signature motif for Mr 9. Badawi
does the business on the flip, hooking up with Juakali,
perhaps better known for the awesome 'One blood, One
source' cut from the recent Pinch album, this time in an
altogether darker mode with a droning stepper for company.
Needless to say, this is a 100% neccessary purchase for
the kode 9 mix alone, I can't wait to hear this get played
out."
Many apologies for the annoying and ironic lack of bass
last time. It was a schoolboy error, and needless to say,
the persons responsible shall never work in this town
again.
Enjoy these instead.
