This best-of album is the second best-of volume in a series documenting the 
underground sounds of the late seventies and the early eighties. Not for the 
sake of nostalgia, but because the influence of so much of the music from this 
era is still apparent these days - while a lot of it has been deleted - "New 
Wave Club Class X" gathers highlights from new wave's rich club history for the 
interested listener of today.
