Bachel's debut release for Ampoule's Talent Hoover
series was simply brilliant. A deep blend of sculptural
electronics and a Berlin-textured 4/4 style that brought
to mind the likes of Gas or Global Systems Silently Moving.
This follow-up is equally as good (that is to say absolute class).
Taking a more melodic approach this features the gorgeous
Yes No Piano to begin with that draws you in with a lovely
piano section before adding some distinct layers of sound
and intensity towards the middle, then brings you back down
at the end. Beautiful.
The second and third tracks are almost classical in their
splendour, particularly the last track, Disnae. Reduced
to perfection and featuring nothing but the good bits, this
is a pure gem from Amouple and it features a lovelyindividual
design on each numbered sleeve.
Yes, that's right there are only 100 copies.
My advice is to get in there. Top.
