this london based outfit, led by virtuoso vocalist and songwriter
guida de palma records and performs a repertoire of original
material in their own idiosyncratic style they call jazzinho,
(which could be translated as 'sweet little jazz') a sophisticated
blend of dance rhythms, nu-jazz arrangements, afro-brazilian
percussions, r&b background vocals with soulful and organic bossa
melodies.
jazzhinho started as a live act and is fluent at delivering an
effective and relentless groove. the ensemble outputs a blend of
sophisticated melodies and irresistable organic rhythms. lately,
renowned dj's have joined forces to enrich the experience.
especially after working with chris franck (da lata, smoke city)
on the da lata single 'golden' and on the kyoto jazz massive album
track 'shine', the idea to produce something came up and was soon
translated into action with the help of producers chris franck,
michele chiavarini and neil angilley.
