Ok lets get the obvious stuff out of the way first. Yes Ava
Leigh is gorgeous, yes sheÆs a white girl from Chester who
sings reggae, but so what, thatÆs where her musical love is
and she has an octave straddling voice that can pull it off.
Which in the main she has done pretty well on this debut
album, RollinÆ. Sure sheÆs had some help from the likes of Sly
And Robbie production wise and sheÆs roped in forgotten man
Finlay Quaye on After Tonight, but ultimately itÆs her voice
and personality that give this album the strength to be one of
those summer albums youÆll want to return to.
