║▓║ ║ The latest release on Music Is Freedom comes from 2 lads from ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ Atlanta in the US by the name of Brett Abrahamson and Damon Fononi, ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ who go by the production name of Habersham and Numinous. 'Mister ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ Cool' is their latest working and it was good enough to feature on ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ Phil K's Balance 4 mix. ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ The Habersham's House Of NU Interpretations Dub is a nice 4/4 house ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ affair. Subtle whispering vocals shimmer over a deep and smooth ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ arrangement of drums in the first half of the track. The track ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ continues in the same vein, and is neverbig or flashy in its ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ approach, rather using subtle effects and vocals for its impact. ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ The Original version is the strong point of the release for me, and ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ was the mix used by Phil K in his Balance mix. Obviously it uses a ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ more breakbeat drum pattern, but also makes use of a nice, but not ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ too obvious driving baseline. The vocal effects remain in tact, and ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ a nice smooth piano line lifts things midway into the track. ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ ║ ║▓║
║▓║ ║ Another solid release on Music Is Freedom. Well worth a look. ║ ║▓║
