Ronald Regan announces that he has AlzhemierÆs disease, DisneyÆs The Lion
King opens in theaters, the Russians finally pull out of Estonia, and Lorena
Bobbit is found not guilty by reason of insanity. Five young men begin the
long and arduous journey through their teenage years and begin to nurture a
fierce and frenzied passion for the fledgling pop punk scene. These young men
unknowingly forge an undeniable devotion to the music that will lead them to
adopt for themselves a name befitting of the years of their youth. They are
1994. Hailing from the quaint village of Atlanta, Georgia, these devoted
tunesmiths have laid bare their souls to the world with their heads level and
their hearts true; 1994 seeks to lay waste to the endless sea of mediocrity
flooding the worldÆs ears with a return to the true roots: intelligent,
passionate lyrics supported by a tumultuous yet shrewd array of crunchy
rhythms, resourceful leads, and truly tempest-inspired drumming. Stability is
key for these astute young musicians. Be ready, because 1994 is poised to set
the standard for the new face of music!
