Helsinki Cooler vol.  3 is a  journey through the  world of sensitivity  and
freedom of  expression. The  main co-ordinates  are innovative  soundscapes,
fresh jazzy beats, funky vibes,  beautiful vocals, warm bass and  variety of
moods, through  which we  discover the  fresh interpretations  of new nordic
oddity. These timeless sounds and cutting edge productions alley and  convey
pure and odd natural beauty.

Like  its  predecessors,  the  third  volume  brings  out  the  best  out of
innovative finnish views in electronic  jazz fusion and its new  flourishing
sub-genres.  However  this special  edition  double cd  shows  us a  broader
spectrum of talent than the  previous volumes. The first cd  emphasizes live
band  sound  embellished  with  fine  electronic  ingredients  and   various
vocalists.  The second  one focuses  on instrumental  experimentations  with
exquisite electronic sounds.

Helsinki Cooler  vol. 3  compilation will  be released  in conjunction  with
Fennofolk, Design  Museum┤s main  exhibition in  the summer  of 2008  (11.6.
-28.9.2008).  Fennofolk -  New nordic  oddity will  present an  analysis  of
Finnish culture from a new perspective. A big thank you to artist and labels
who took part.
