Two dub techno titans face off for the Echocord colour series,
sharing a nuclear orange plate between them for two tracks of
irresistably deeper dancefloor goods. Hess's 'Platte' works on the
same thick jacking rhythm that worked so well on his recent FXHE
12", with endless dub chords stretching into the distance over
squared house percussion. Furstenburg's 'Site 312' is the perfect
companion on the flip, another endless deep dub tech tripper with
a matrix of syncopated reverb and delay building to a rewarding
crescendo, before rolling in a Sven Weisemann alike conga line for
that extra touch of class. A sublime EP that should get the dub
techno cognescenti rubbing themselves with glee - strictly limited
