│ RELEASE INFO │

│ │
│ OK, so here it is. This mix was originally played on BBC Radio 1 │
│ Essential Mix and is now here in the form of an official │
│ (limited edtion) double CD collectors pack. The CD's would've │
│ been pressed up in a limited edition of 1000, but there was a │
│ shortage in disc #2. In other words, they pressed up 1000 │
│ copies of disc 1, but not a full run of disc #2. So it's │
│ actually a limited edition of 980. │
│ │
│ I even included scans of all parts of the 'Party Pak' for your │
│ interest. │
│ │
│ Rip Notes: │
│ I could not bear to rip this as anything other that .cue style │
│ because this mix need sto be kept in its original format. │
│ However, Disc 2 contains the highly sought after unreleased │
│ track 'War is Hell' and although I would've loved to have ripped │
│ this as a seperate track, in order to rip the second part of the │
│ mix as I did, the bonus track had to be ripped along with it. │
│ │
│ Sorry for that :( │
│ │
│ I also have no tracklist for the mix, and could see no sign of │
│ one on the internet. give it time, there will be one and when │
│ there is, I will release a 'Tracklist_only-soup' :) │
│ │
│ anyway, its all here, 2 hours of shadow... │
│ │
│ Enjoy another fine soup release. │
│ │
│ Thanks to an old soup friend who came back to donate this │
│ release :) │

│
│ soup was founded in early 2002, with the intention of releasing
│ the hip-hop, trip-hop, lo-fi and turntablism that has been slept
│ on by other groups. We're a small, friendly group with a real
│ passion for our music, who're fed up of the overly competitive,
│ elitist and aggressive attitude of certain groups.
│
│ We are currently looking for:-
│ - Suppliers
│ - Rippers
│ - Siteops (that are willing to affiliate us)
│
│ If you think you have something we need, drop us an email.
│
│ soup extend greetings and thanks to everyone at NuHS, CQi and all
│ other groups who care about the music and the scene.
