Time for the 2nd release on label Body Rhythm
Black and we've got a strong 2 tracker here with
Epicenter being a chunky tech influenced club
track whilst After The Drought is a melodic deep
houser that's been gaining strong DJ support in
recent weeks. One of the most addictive tech house
tracks I have recently heard is Epicenter by
System check. It builds up quite housy with a huge
gliding baseline breaking into some bit mashed
action and a steady groove of metal drums/bells
and than later solos to an amazing break of 8bit
melody with a new buildup. Regardless of what I
just described this track actually sounds good and
words seem to do it only wrong. I suggest you get
it and play it as hard as you can, donÆt forget to
put some emphasis on the gliding baseline as I
believe it was a bit lost in the mix.
The tracks can also be heard on the label's
myspace page: www.myspace.com/bodyrhythmblack
DJ Reactions:
Laurent Garnier: ''Yes yes yes. Great stuff. Will
definitely play them out.''
Scope: ''Great to see you back with another house
monsteràI absolutely love "After The
Drought"àproper deep, drivin, house grooves! Full
supportàclub / radio!''
Darran Nugent (Aruba / Elevation): ''Epicenter is
such an irresistible club track that it could get
even Stephen Hawking on the dancefloor strutting
his stuff. After the Drought is more deep house in
nature with a tasty groove which reminds me a lot
of the style of Scope and recent Funk
D'Void/Francois Dubois material. A quality
package.
Murray Richardson: ''Another nice slice of deep
house! - Hype charted!''
Harold Heath: ''After The DroughtÆ is the one I'll
be playing & charting, great track''
Jevne: ''crikey crikey crikey! Both these cuts are
DOPE! Intense and thick and will be in my
playlists for a while to come I guarantee!!''
Spin Science: ''Really nice tunes here, will def
play out. My fav is After The Drought one! Lovely
stuff!''
Da Funk: ''My pick is After The Drought here.
Great Ross Couch signature atmosphere inside. Love
it!

Drought for meà.''

weekend.''
