     After a string of innovative EPs, Dan Berridge brings us a long-playing 
     look into his strange and melancholic world. After contracting ME 
     Berridge shut himself away in self imposed exile in Worthing and set 
     about writing music; music that gives voice to the pain and frustration
     he was feeling and to the hope and joy brought about by the healing 
     effect that his song writing was having on him. For those unfamiliar with 
     the Memphis Industries sound, this is expansive soundtrack sampling at
     it's finest. 'Compassion'is somewhat darker than what we've come to 
     expect from the label, but bound to stir the emotions of any listener.
