Cass Cutbush and Pete 'Slide' Martin are preparing for lift-off. Having
been beavering away relentlessly on their anticipated artist long player,
time is now drawing closer.
Fever Rising is the first single from the album, a result of a mammoth
18 hour studio session with NYC don, Danny Tenaglia. Layer upon layer of
dark tribal soundscapes build this into a real floorwrecker, and the
added vocals of Adele Holness is just the icing on the cake.
Cass and Slide's Queenspark to Queens Mix ebbs and flows powerfully
between genres. Already having been at the top of Hernan Cattaneo's chart
for several weeks, and played out by Cass, Lee Burridge and of course the
man Tenaglia, it is now about to explode.
Over on the flip, Ben Shaw delivers an electro influeneced tribal affair
that has already found favour with Deep Dish.
Fire's Fever is Rising, almost to levels of spontaneous combustion, watch
you dont end up in smoke.
