██ From the beginning the H-Foundation has devoted ██
██ themselves to creating dance music with substance. ██
██ ██
██ Members Hipp-E and Halo, of San Diego and Chicago ██
██ respectively, joined forces as their mutual admiration ██
██ and passion for the music they were spinning every ██
██ weekend around the states evolved intoa desire to hear ██
██ their own tunes thundering from the same sound ██
██ systems. One of their earleist productions, the ██
██ seminal "Hear Dis Sound", has become the blueprint for ██
██ much of the current wave of dub-influenced house music ██
██ and has helped to propel the San Diego based Siesta ██
██ Records to a level of international recognition. The ██
██ track recently appeared as part of the most recent ██
██ Tech House Phenomonon compilation and appeared on the ██
██ prestigious Essential Mix show in DJ sets form Pete ██
██ Tong and Carl Cox while DJ Dan listed the EP as one of ██
██ his Top Ten of 1999. To say that the release was well ██
██ received would be a trajic understatement. ██
██ ██
██ Follow up EP's on Chicago's Moody and Toronto's ██
██ Camouflage imprints have solidified the duo's place at ██
██ the top of the heap of the new U.S. producers. Not ██
██ content with conquering their own country, the ██
██ H-Foundation have recently secured a deal with the ██
██ UK's Low Pressings (a label the two have always ██
██ admired) and are working on a new EP for Siesta for ██
██ the summer with remixes by the legondary Peace ██
██ Division and DJ Q. An upcoming tour of the United ██
██ Kingdom, Holland, and Spain will see the boys working ██
██ and DJing side by side with some of their idols ██
██ (Rokcy, Diesel, Ashlee Beedle, Clive Henry) and ██
██ unleashing their own brand of dubby, rolling beats on ██
██ the European dancefloors. On their first EP, The ██
██ Foundation asked us "What is going on?" Well, it would ██
██ seem that the pair have figured it out, have you? ██
