│"Antonio Feola and Gabi Mumtzeu are two Italians │
│now based in London collectively creating what │
│we know as Marasma. They describe Marasma as a │
│chaos of music and sound of any kind and any form, │
│a turning point between the infinate end-time consisting │
│of an abstract subject full of rhythm, sound, noise, │
│feeling and space. What we see in Marasma is a new soul │
│and body, something that comes and goes with a touch of │
│meloncholy, fun and happiness. │

│The pair made their Freerange debut in the form of the │
│Pimp In Velvet EP which swung from sleazy 70's inspired │
│funk to percussion heavy fusion and was well recieved by │
│the more discerning of DJ's. The album 'Signals' followed │
│with what can only be described as an awesome collection │
│of tracks with which to permeate your soul. Hypnotic funk, │
│floating grooves and a unique slackness are all present │
│and correct. │

│The duo have both been involved with Jazz Funk bands │
│from an early age (Antonio having played drums with Diana │
│Brown) and have had previous tracks included on the │
│'Totally Wired' compilations on Acid Jazz. Antonio is │
│also in demand as a session musician having recently laid │
│down the grooves for such luminaries as 4 Hero and I G Culture." │

│records..shows only how original and clever fusion these guys do. │
│SO watch out, cause if you know how intelligent Hefner is, how funky │
│Eumir Deadato was and how relaxating beats Max Brennan throws out │
