██▌▄▀█ BOSS proudly brings you this weeks installment of ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ the Kiss100 FM Drum & Bass show, this week its DJ ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ Hype. ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ DJ Hype's career began in 1983 when the Heatwave ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sound-system began to hit the Hackney reggae scene. ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Experimenting not only with that sound, but also hip ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ hop, rare-groove and early house, Hype's first ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ studio session was with other members of his ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ sound-system who messed with rap under the name ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Private Party, though no releases were ever made by ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ this outfit. ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀

██▌▄▀█ Hype's radio debut came in 1989 when he was offered ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ a slot on Fantasy FM after winning the DMC Mixing ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Championships. Taking up the post of A&R man at ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ Kickin' Records in 1990, Hype co-produced the ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ groundbreaking "The Exorcist" and "The Bee" as The ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ Scientist. He set up the Ganja label in 1994 before ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ moving onto Kiss 100. ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ ░██▌▄▀

██▌▄▀█ Since then Hype has become one of the biggest jungle ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ DJs in the scene, regularly topping fans' polls. In ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█ 2002 he's already mixed four compilations with ░██▌▄▀
██▌▄▀█ "Jungle Massive Vols 1&2" showcasing old school ░██▌▄▀
