Artist Notes:
This group consisted Cecil Skeleton Spence (vocals),
AlbertApple Craig (vocals) and Lascelle Whiss Bulgin
(vocals). The 3 singer/songwriter members of this Jamaican
Reggae band were all severly handcapped during childhood as
a result of the Jamaican polio epidemic of the late 1950's.
The trio met during a period of treatment at the Mona
Heights Rehabilitation centre in Jamaica and found that they
shared common musical interests. The band made several live
performances at local talents, and were later discovered by
producer Tommy Cowan who helped them with their first
release Why worry in 1978. An album, Same song, followed and
the band built up a strong following as they enjoyed in more
live work around the island. The songs on the second album,
Crisis (1979), dealt with aspects of political unrest in
Jamaica, whilst the next single Love can conquer was more
