AMG EXPERT REVIEW: A collection of assorted Lee Perry
productions supposedly drawn from the Black Ark recordings,
but really dating mostly from the Upsetter Shop period prior
to the debut of the Black Ark. As such, the overall
compilation is okay, but hardly revolutionary or
evolutionary, though give credit to the label for producing
a nicely mastered release that sounds clear and sharp for
the most part. There are, however, far more interesting
